Material: 304 food-grade stainless steel on every surface your food and water touch, lids and bottle cap included. One food-grade silicone seal. The bottle's outer shell is 201 steel and touches nothing you eat or drink. No plastic touches your food.
Leak resistance: Leak-resistant. Clip-locking lids with a food-grade silicone seal. We say resistant, not proof — the seal is a consumable, and we would rather you knew that than find out.

Wash before first use. Dishwasher safe. Remove the silicone seals occasionally and rinse separately. Dry thoroughly before storing. Not suitable for the microwave — here is how to heat food without one.

Order before 12:00 on a weekday and it leaves our warehouse the same day. Everything ships tracked, so you can see where it is. Delivery after that: 1–3 business days in the Netherlands, 3–7 in the rest of the EU.

The Trio is the Duo plus the mid-day break: the 800 ml lunch box for the sandwiches, the 400 ml round pot for the snack, and the 500 ml bottle with its steel cap. All of it fits in a school bag with room left for the books. Steel takes the drop on the playground and the daily dishwasher cycle, and the divider in the 800 keeps the bread away from the fruit. Pack it every day for a school year — next August it is still the same box.

Every surface your food and water touch is 304, lids and bottle cap included. The bottle's outer shell is 201, and it touches nothing you eat or drink.

One food-grade silicone seal

Removable. Washable. We'll sell you a spare for as long as you own it.

Nothing else

No coatings, no liners, no "composite of ingredients." If a third material ever appears, it goes on the page before it goes in the box.

And what it won't do

It doesn't go in the microwave. You can't see through it. It's heavier than plastic. If that matters more, buy something else.

We're not here to tell you plastic is dangerous. Nobody can tell you that honestly. We're here because"nobody knows yet"isn't a good enough answer for the thing your dinner sits in for three days.

Straight answers

Before you buy

No. Steel never goes in a microwave — not ours, not anybody's. It is the one real trade-off in owning steel, and we would rather you knew it before you bought than after. There is a short guide on the site for reheating without one.

Yes, all of it. Lids on the top rack. Let everything dry fully before you put it away — steel doesn't mind water, but water left standing leaves lime marks.

Leak-resistant, and we won't say leakproof. Upright in a bag or a fridge it holds. On its side with soup in it, we wouldn't bet on it. The seal is silicone and silicone wears out — which is why we sell spares instead of pretending it won't.

Yes. Steel doesn't go brittle in the cold and it won't crack the way glass can. Leave a couple of centimetres of headspace so the food has room to expand as it freezes.

No. Steel is non-porous, so garlic, curry and fish don't stay behind the way they do in plastic. The one place odour can linger is the silicone seal — take it out and wash it separately now and then.

No coating and no liner anywhere in this set. The containers are two materials and we name them both: 304 food-grade stainless steel and one food-grade silicone seal. The bottle is the one exception worth naming — the outer skin your hand holds is 201 steel, a lower grade, and it touches nothing you drink. We'd rather name it than round down.

Yes. Steel scratches — a fork, a brush and a dishwasher rack all leave marks eventually. The difference is what a scratch means. In plastic it is somewhere for oils and colour to settle. In steel it is cosmetic and nothing else.
