One food-grade silicone seal

Removable. Washable. We'll sell you a spare for as long as you own it.

Nothing else

No coatings, no liners, no "composite of ingredients." If a third material ever appears, it goes on the page before it goes in the box.

And what it won't do

It doesn't go in the microwave. You can't see through it. It's heavier than plastic. If that matters more, buy something else.

Glass is right at home. Steel is what survives the day.

If it never leaves the kitchen, glass is a fine choice. It's clear, it's inert, it goes in the oven. But the moment it goes into a bag, glass is the wrong material. And its lid was always plastic anyway.
